Fire crews tackled unattended blaze in Charwelton over weekend
Fire crews from Daventry attended a large unattended fire in Charwelton at the weekend.
The fire was out of control at Hellidon Road at 4.15pm on Saturday.
It contained tree scrubs and pallets, as well as a quantity of tyres and plastics.
The crew used a hose reel to damp down the flames and handed it over to the site manager before leaving the scene at 5.28pm.
