FROM Hollywood to Hook, a TV and film legend will be starring in a pirate-packed pantomime this Christmas.
Milton Keynes Theatre has announced actor Henry Winkler – better known as Fonzie in the popular 1970s sitcom Happy Days – will be taking on the role of the dastardly Captain Hook in this year’s pantomime Peter Pan.

Henry, who has won two Golden Globes as well as several other awards, is one of the first American stars ever to be cast in a British pantomime by First Family Entertainment who produce the hugely successful show each year at Milton Keynes Theatre.

Henry is said to be delighted to be playing the perfect panto villain during the festive season and is hoping to steal the show.

He said: “Being in panto equals joy, and playing Captain Hook gives me joy.

“How great to share this fantastic adventure with the audience in Milton Keynes.”

Peter Pan, also starring comedian Andy Ford as Smee, is set to take audiences on a spectacular journey of wonder and excitement into the magical world of Neverland, providing the perfect festive treat for the whole family.

Join Peter, Wendy and the Lost Boys in their thrilling adventure to save Tinkerbell from the villainous Captain Hook and their crew of dastardly pirates.

Elizabeth Adlington, chief executive at Milton Keynes Theatre, said: “We are extremely privileged that such an iconic international star will be enjoying the family pantomime tradition here in Milton Keynes, and I look forward to welcoming him to our theatre.”

Tickets are already on sale for performances, which will run from December 5 until January 18, with matinee and evenings shows everyday of the week.

To book tickets, from £17 to £26, call 0870 0606652 or visit www.miltonkeynestheatre. com.
