THE third 7 Locks Festival has already started with a number of concerts across the county for the next two months.
The first of the concerts in our area takes place on Sunday at 6pm in Fawsley Church when core members of The Works, the organisation that runs the festival, will perform. They are Amanda Pitt, Carris Jones, Mark Wilde and Thomas Guthrie, who sing English Romantic Partsongs.

Other concerts include one taking place at Flore United Reformed Church on October 18 at 7.30pm with Mark Sabberton doing Songs from the Shows, a collection of Rodgers and Hammerstein's classics.

St Matthew's Church in Northampton on October 25 and the University of Northampton on November 1 also hold concerts as part of the festival.
Rounding off the festival will be a concert commemorating Armistice Day on November 11at the Temple Speech Room in Rugby. It starts at 7.30pm and is called Touched the Face of God.
The price for all of these concerts is £12.50 for adults and free for people under 18. For all enquiries, contact 01264 355409.

There will also be free concerts taking place in the district, including concerts in Harpole parish church on October 14 at 6pm, Brixworth parish church on October 17 at 6pm and two concerts on October 19, with the first taking place at Holy Cross Church in Daventry at 4pm and the second taking place in Long Buckby parish church at 6pm.
