A VILLAGE will be celebrating a year of holding live music events with a festival next weekend.
A number of Woodford Rocks gigs have been held in the village over the last year, attracting people from around the world.
A three-day Woodford Rocks Weekender featuring eight bands will start next Friday to celebrate the success of the event.

cking-off the music festival will be Axletree, a group based in Northampton, who will play a mixture of rock covers and original material at Woodford Halse Social Club in Hinton Road at 7.15pm.
The headline act on Friday will be Live-Wire, an AC/DC tribute act covering both the Bon Scott and Brian Johnson eras, at 9.30pm.
Bands appearing on Saturday include The Fontaines at 4pm and The Who tribute band My Generation at 6.30pm.
Boot-led-zeppelin, who appeared at the first Woodford Rocks event last July, will headline on Saturday, performing Led Zeppelin classics from 9.15pm.
The venue will switch to Woodford United Football Club on the Sunday with music from Soley Mourning at 12.30pm and The Sirens Call at 3pm.
Woodford Rocks organiser Barry Mines said: "We have had a good year and people from the USA, Holland and across the UK have come along to see the gigs which just shows how popular it is. Every gig we do seems to go from strength to strength."
"It's great that we have made this anniversary so all I would say to people is come along and have a good time."
Tickets for the gig cost £15 for Friday or Saturday and £3 for the Sunday.
A joint ticket for Friday and Saturday is available for £25 but must be bought before the gig starts.
Camping facilities are available at Woodford United Football Club and cost £5 for a small tent, £10 for a larger tent and £15 for a caravan or campervan for the whole weekend.
Doors open for the event at 7pm on Friday, 3pm on Saturday and midday on Sunday.
Hot and cold food and a bar will be available at each venue and on Saturday there will be a pig roast.
