FROM live music and comedians to theatre and panto, there will be something for everyone in the autumn line-up at the Royal and Derngate.
Theatrical entertainment at the Northampton venue will come from the theatre's own production of The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie.
Set in 1930s Edinburgh, it will tell the story of the outspoken and charismatic teacher Miss Brodie from September 12-October 4.
A contemporary version of Shakespeare's Othello, the gripping tragedy of paranoia, sex and murder, will hit the stage from October 7-18.
And an adaptation of William Golding's Lord of the Flies will be performed from October 21-25, while the classic Sherlock Holmes tale, The Hound of the Baskervilles, will thrill audiences from November 3-8. All of these shows will be performed at the Royal.
There will be plenty for musical lovers at the Derngate, including Marti Pellow starring in The Witches of Eastwick, based on the hit Jack Nicholson film, from September 16-20, Cabaret dancer Wayne Sleep from November 24-29, and popular children's show High School Musical on September 29-October 4.
Folk rock heroes The Levellers will also be performing on September 25, while Hayley Westenra will be appearing on November 5.
Other acts that will be performing include soul legend Billy Ocean, The Temptations and Billy Bragg.
Get into the festive spirit with pantomimes The Wizard of Oz at the Royal from December 2-January 11, and Cinderella starring Jimmy Osmond as the loveable Buttons at the Derngate
from December 12-January 11.
The Derngate will also be hosting top comedians including Mock the Week duo Russell Howard and Frankie Boyle on November 17 and 21, while Peter Kay's sparring partner Paddy McGuinness will be appearing at the Derngate on December 5.
