THERE will be laughter in the aisles as the comedy club comes to Daventry Leisure Centre next Friday.
Comedians appearing on the night include Glen Maney, Joel Sanders and Danny Davis, with Bobby Carroll as compere.

Opening the night will be a British comedian Joel Sanders who has had enormous success in North America.

He has performed in 30 st
ates in the USA, more than any other British-based comic, and has an ambition to appear in all 50. He has opened two shows for Robin Williams and worked with famous American comics including Ray Romano and Drew Carey.

Glen Maney has been performing stand up for nearly 10 years and has performed almost 200 gigs at venues including The Comedy Store and The Comedy Cafe. He has been on the same bill as Lee Hurst, Lee Mack and Ross Noble and is currently in the middle of writing a sitcom for Channel 4.

Danny Davis is a British comedian based in London and currently touring the country.

The former lawyer has only been doing stand up for a year but won the Lion’s Den Gong Show last August.

The doors for the comedy club open at 7.30pm with the first act taking to the stage at 8.30pm. Tickets cost £7 if booked in advance of £10 on the door. For more information, or to book tickets, phone 01327 871144.
