A SHOW for children will be taking place at Eydon Village Hall on Sunday.
The Little Red Hen will be performed by two actors and a lot of puppets from the A Load of Stuff and Nonsense theatre company.

It tells the story of a farmer who is trying to bake some bread and asks for the help of the animals living on the farm.
All the animals want to do though is be lazy and eat the food made by the farmer.
The story is told using enchanting music, simple story telling and beautiful puppets.

The show will be performed courtesy of Northants Touring Arts, which aims to bring professional shows to villages across the county.

Kevin Lodge from Eydon Village Hall said: "It is wonderful that there is a professional theatre company coming here.
"The village hall is within walking distance and the show is being done in conjunction with the local nurseries so the children will be able to come and watch the show after having their dinner.

"It is a theatre company that has been to lots of big venues including Hammersmith and Broadway theatre so it is quite big for the village to have it here."

The show is suitable for children aged three upwards and will be performed at 3pm.
Tickets cost £4.50 for adults and £3.50 for children and can be booked by contacting Sue Lodge on 01327 261535.
