A DAVENTRY man has had his first full length novel published.
Peter Cosentino, who is best know for his pottery work, has already written three non-fiction titles on the subject and has also had a short thriller and short story published.

His latest book, Walk Back, is a science fiction/fantasy tale set in
the present and distant future and follows the adventures of three young males who, as part of their ritual to be accepted into adulthood, are catapulted hundreds of miles away from their community.

They then have to undertake the dangerous journey back home, working as a team to fend off dangerous creatures who imprison their victims before slowly harvesting their blood, fearsome pescodiles who have evolved from crocodiles and sharks and part dog/part human hybrids.

Peter said: “I sometimes think our dogs consider themselves more as humans rather than mere dogs.

“It led my imagination to explore the idea of what they might really be like if they took on a more human form. I began to think of situations whereby this could happen and Walk Back was the result.

“Wings Press contacted me to say they loved the unusual plotline.”

The book is available either as a paperback or an e-book, which can be directly downloaded.

Walk Back is available directly from the publishers online bookstore by visiting www.wingsepress.com or www/fictionwise.com.
