DON'T miss out on your chance to go to Fairport Cropredy Convention.
There are only a few tickets left for the music festival on August 7-9 and organisers are urging fans to books now to avoid disappointment.

Last year's festival sold out more than a week before the gates opened and the indication is the 20 acts lined up for this summer will be playing to a full house.
Alongside Fairport Convention, performers include Supergrass, Levellers and former Ultravox frontman Midge Ure.

Simon Nicol, a founder member of Fairport, said: "We are obviously delighted by this year's ticket sales. On the other hand, it is heartbreaking to have to turn people away at the gate. So I strongly urge festival-goers to get their skates on and book now because there may not be any tickets for sale on the day.

"Because Cropredy is such a friendly and family-focused event, we get a lot of repeat bookings. Many people come year after year with some of the audience at the earliest festivals back in the late 1970s. We also attract a lot of newcomers each year who having been once usually come again."

Tickets ordered before August 1 cost £76 for three days, £66 for Saturday and Sunday and £46 for Saturday only. Tickets bought after this date will cost an extra £4 each. Tickets are available from www.fairportconvention.com.
