A LOCAL DJ and music producer is launching a new set of club nights in Rugby.
Ted Nilsson is starting the We Present... nights at the Style Bar in North Street, Rugby, on Saturday.

The first night kicks off with Jake Duval, resident DJ at Houseexy’s, which is one of the most recognised brands within the dance scene and visi
ting Rugby for the first time.

Ted will join Jake on the decks for the free event, which starts at 9pm and finishes 2.30am.

He has set up the club nights to make a difference to the music scene in Rugby.

He said: “My aim is to bring house music back to Rugby, on a regular basis, so it’s not just on a bank holiday, at a popular venue.

“We’ve been really lucky to get all these different brands in for the ‘We Present...’ nights and I’m really excited about showcasing them and giving everyone a really memorable and enjoyable night!”

The club nights will be held bi-weekly. Future events include resident DJ for DTPM@Fabric in London, Reza, on July 19.

Other acts playing soon include Steve Haines of Hed Kandi Records and Chris James from the Toolroom Knights.

Ted added: “Hopefully the nights will be successful and we can then look to maybe getting in more brands and up and coming DJs.

“I just want to give the dance and house scene in and around Rugby a big boost.

“I want to remind people what it’s all about and make it an event to go out for – not just cheezy dancefloor chart stuff in your local pub!”
