In response to Susan Lockyer's letter 'Not loving this bad behaviour' (Daventry Express April 10). She states that McDonald's should be fined because some idiots can't be bothered to put rubbish in the bin.
I am a crew member at the local McDonald's and I know that we send employees out to do "trash walks" and clean up as much of the rubbish as we can. The managers are also responsible enough to tell the employees to go down Vicar Lane when there is a lot of McDonald's rubbish dropped by people.

McDonald's has no power to get people to put rubbish in the bins that are provided on their property that is why we have to do "trash walks".

I can understand her anger at some people throwing milkshake over her car – I would be too if that happened to me. But I cannot see why McDonald's has to be punished because people can't be bothered to use the bins and behave responsibly.

It is down to the same problem that is facing us across the town and the country there is no respect, no consequences for bad behaviour children and young adults have no moral safe guards of right and wrong.
