I HAVE just returned home from watching the final performance of Daventry William Parker School's production of Joseph.
As a mother of one of the cast I could just burst with pride not only over my son's performance but for every person who made this production possible!

These dedicated young people who gave up their own time, not only after school but at weekends and half-term holidays too, sang their hearts out and entertained a packed audience over three evenings with superb vocal talents which were just amazing, energetic, well choreographed dance routines and terrific costumes.

The brilliant band kept feet tapping, we heard dodgy French accents, saw Joseph swaying in an Hawaiian lei and then to top it all..... Elvis!!!!

What a wonderfully modern day version of a well-loved musical. It could not have been better. Well done William Parker, you should be so, so proud of these children, they are a credit to you and the town.
