Park problems

Last Saturday I endeavoured to visit Daventry Country Park in order, in my role as chairman, to support 2nd Braunston Scouts participating in the District Scout Raft Race.
I was thwarted in my effort due to the fact that I was unable to park my vehicle. Why? Because nobody had bothered to open the overflow car park.

Surely with the fine weather and an event at the Country Park that would draw people from a wide area it would have been wise to open the car park and ease the congestion.
