WHAT a pity that your newspaper has not reported on the amazing performing arts work being done in our local primary schools.
Ashby Fields School has recently put on a stunning production of Annie to delighted audiences who commented on the sheer professionalism of the entire show.

They then contributed a scene from the show at the Northants Children and Young People's Arts Festival at the Royal and Derngate, Northampton, where they joined other Northamptonshire primary schools to deliver fantastic entertainment for the hundreds of privileged parents and friends in the audience.

The general public should know that such wonderful work is being done by our youngsters to counteract the negative youth news we read about so often.
