I was very quick to write in and complain when our village was under siege, which is how it must have seen to anyone reading the letters page.
But last Friday night a single female PCSO arrived at the scene of many under-aged drinking sessions, had a quiet word with the youths, confiscated two bags of beer and made them clear up the empty cans and dispose of them properly.

As a result of her actions we had a peaceful evening with no swearing or screaming as a back drop.

So a huge big thank you to the officer in question and let's hope this is the first of many occasions when we see a bobby out and about in Long Buckby.
