I LOOK forward to reading in a future edition of the Daventry Express that councillor Lynne Taylor has resigned as leader of Daventry Town Council after being suspended for two weeks for failing to declare a personal interest during a debate. (Daventry Express, August 14)
I joke of course, 20 years ago such resignation would have been automatic. Now I'm sure it does not even occur to Cllr Taylor.
Yet another reason why so many people have totally switched off from politics.
