On SATURDAY, June 27, the Rotary Club of Daventry held a street collection in the town centre in support of Children Come First – a local charity devoted to helping estranged families.
The people of Daventry responded with their customary generosity, and as a result of the collection we were able to send £302.32 to this cause which does tremendous (and, sadly, very necessary) work in our town and area.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to all those people who gave so cheerfully and willingly, and who, by their enquiries, helped to raise the profile of Children Come First. Thank you Daventry.

David Pound
Past president of the Rotary Club of Daventry
