BURGLARS attempted to smash their way into two shops in Bugbrooke.
They damaged glass at the front of a shop in High Street as they attempted to break in sometime between 4.15am and 4.30am on Saturday.
And a second shop, this time in St John's Road, was also damaged sometime between 7pm on Friday and 1pm the next day.

The burglars failed to get into either shop and nothing was taken.

Northamptonshire Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed either of the incidents, or if they saw a car in the vicinity of High Street at around 4.15am on Saturday.
The force can be contacted on 08453 700700, or information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
