SHOPPERS will be entertained by the Brackley Morris Men at the Heart of the Shires Shopping Village on Bank Holiday Monday.
The event is due to take place in the victorian bandstand in the central courtyard in the shopping village on Monday.

The Brackley Morris men have been established for almost 400 years and regularly tour around the Midlands.

Site owner Mr Paul
Mackaness said: “The morris men have performed here before and went down very well.

“We wanted something traditional and very English to round off our August programme of events and conclude what has been a successful summer for us – despite the typical British weather.”

Throughout this month the centre, just off the A5 near Weedon, has hosted a series of summer events to entertain the crowds, including live lunchtime jazz on Sundays.

Mr Mackaness said: “We wanted something that would complement a lazy – and hopefully sunny – Sunday afternoon.

“We felt a lunchtime jazz session would be a great accompaniment to a glass of wine or cream tea from our bistro or deli – all set in the lovely environment of our bandstand and courtyard.”

Monday’s event is free of charge and all the shops will be open between 10am and 5pm.
