PARACHUTING teddies, a barbecue, quiz and traditional stalls made a village church fete a success.
St Lawrence’s Church in Long Buckby organised the event on Saturday with cake, book and plant stalls, along with a tombola, barbecue, teas, entertainment for adults and children, a quiz, flower display and face painting.

Teddy bears were parachuted from the church tower, and there was live music from a band and the St Lawrence Singers.

There was also bellringing to keep the atmosphere buzzing throughout the event.

Money raised from the event goes to the church.
