ST JOHN Ambulance is opening a new division in Woodford Halse.
It will be based at Woodford Halse Fire Station in Byfield Road and will be holding an open day at 10am on April 5 to allow people to find out more about the service and have an informal chat with members.

Meetings of the group are yet to be arranged but are likely to be in the week following the open day.

Bernard Ingram, county executive officer for St John Ambulance, said: “We felt there is great demand for community support in this area.”

For more information on the new service or to express an interest in volunteering call 01604 597800.
