A POLICE officer was assaulted in Bowen Square, Daventry, in the early hours of Monday morning (February 8).
The officer was kicked in the head when he was trying to arrest another man at 2.30am. He was taken to hospital where he was treated for leg injuries.
Police are looking for a white male, 5ft 10ins, of stocky build with blue eyes and short wavy blonde hair. He was wearing a dark coloured t-shirt.
