WATER ALERT: Gardeners told they can water plants once again

GARDENERS can water their plants as usual once more after a request for people to save water is lifted.
Anglian Water had asked customers in the Daventry area affected by the water contamination not to water their gardens to speed up solving the problem.
However this morning a spokesman said the company now has enough water in the system to flush out the pipes and people could once again water their gardens as normal.
