A WOMAN had her handbag, containing medication, stolen when shopping in Daventry town centre.
Shortly before noon yesterday, a black leather shoulder bag was stolen from the woman who was in the Heart Foundation charity shop in Bowen Square.

The thief is believed to be a white female with shoulder-length brown hair which is slightly curly and has blonde highlights. Police are uncertain as to how old she is.

Anyone discovering the medication is asked to hand the drugs in immediately to their nearest police station.

Witnesses or anyone with information is asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 08453 700700 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
