Woman killed in car crash
A WOMAN in her 20s has died after a road accident on the A428 near Althorp.
The collision, involving a blue Vauxhall Corsa travelling north away from Northampton and a blue Peugeot 406 travelling in the opposite direction, occurred close to Althorp House at around 4.35pm yesterday.
The female driver of the Corsa was taken to Northampton General Hospital where she died.
Officers from the Collision Investigation Unit are dealing with the incident and would like to hear from anyone who may have seen the collision and in particular, the driver of a silver 4x4 vehicle travelling towards Crick who may have witnessed what happened.
