Willoughby joins fight to keep number 12 link with rest of the world
Their cause is being taken up by Rugby Borough Councillor for Leam Valley, Emma Crane, who has written to the Stagecoach chief executive to ask him to reconsider the plan.
The number 12 is set to be rerouted via DIRFT after June 6, cutting out villages along the current route.

“This bus service is a lifeline to many, particularly the elderly and young people.
“Whilst alternative more limited services will be made available for residents to use it is not the same as having a proper regular bus service”
“I have also appealed to Stagecoach that rather than cancelling the service entirely, they consider some alternatives such as a peak hour only service stopping in Willoughby during the morning and evening peak.
“This would at least provide a vital service for those who need to have a regular connection to Rugby and Daventry,” she added.
