Aaron Parkinson is on the move again only a year after leading Woodford United to the UCL Championship and a creditable eighth place at Southern League level in successive seasons.
"Parky's" latest destination will see him link up again with former Byfield Road boss Phil Lines at Brackley Town.
One of Lines' key signings before leaving Phil Mason with a title-winning team at Woodford, Parkinson took his central defending ski
lls to Leamington last season.
Despite holding the Brakes' defence together at times he was unable to prevent Leamington from losing out to Stourbridge in the Midlands Division play-offs final a month ago.
A non-driver, he will now move closer to his home village of Woodford Halse by playing again for Lines at
St James Park.
As well as lifting the UCL trophy at Woodford, "Parky" also took part in memorable FA Cup victories over Conference side Redditch United and Unibond League giants Buxton.
There were hiccups, namely the sending-off at Blackstones and a red card against Cinderford.
Evidence that Parkinson has moved on again are confirmed by the Leamington website which does not list him among the players retained for the 2008-2009 campaign.
Another man on the move, Tommy Waldock, has been named as player-of-the-year by Daventry United despite switching allegiances to
arch-rivals Daventry Town.
Waldock also picked up the goalscorers trophy after netting 29 times last season while
manager Darran Foster's choice as top player was uncompromising defender Rob Steele.
Fixture lists for both the Southern and Ryman Leagues in 2008-2009 will be released in mid-July.
