A similar size to Daventry, Market Harborough has in recent years been represented only at Northamptonshire Combination level through Spencer United (renamed Harborough Town).

Lutterworth Town, meanwhile, have been refused FA permission to switch from the Leicestershire Senior League to the UCL and will, therefore, not take on Raunds in the UCL Cup.

New Wellingborough Town boss Jason Burnham has already gone back to his old club Woodford United to sign talented goalkeeper Matt Finlay and midfield strongman Tom Fountain.

Ex-Reds players Tom O'Brien and Darren Frost have also moved to the Doughboys, along with defender Dan Chilton, who has spent time with both Long Buckby and Daventry Town.
