Daventry's two UCL clubs have been drawn against each other for the second year running in the preliminary round of the league's KO Cup competition.
Last September, a bumper crowd of 300 witnessed Town's 5-0 demolition of United at Communications Park, but the action will switch to the Royal Oak in three months time.

The Daventry teams were not expected to meet again next season after Daventry
United narrowly missed out on promotion from the UCL First Division alongside runaway champions Daventry Town.

A year ago Town went on to play Desborough in the League Cup final, but not before Martyn Walker's men had suffered a shock 5-3 defeat against United in the NFA
Junior Cup.

Both league fixtures went in favour of the Town by margins of 3-1 and
4-0, so the reigning Division One champions will be the favourites to entertain Cogenhoe in the first round proper of the UCL Cup.

Premier Division runners-up Long Buckby have received a bye through to round one, in which Huntingdon or S and L Corby will visit Station Road.
Champions Stotfold are at home to last season's weakest UCL club, Irchester, after failing to gain FA approval for a sideways move into the South Midlands League.

Bugbrooke make the long trip to Holbeach.

There will be 17 clubs in the UCL First Division next season when Leicestershire newcomers Harborough Town will result in the league stretching across seven counties.

A similar size to Daventry, Market Harborough has in recent years been represented only at Northamptonshire Combination level through Spencer United (renamed Harborough Town).

Lutterworth Town, meanwhile, have been refused FA permission to switch from the Leicestershire Senior League to the UCL and will, therefore, not take on Raunds in the UCL Cup.

New Wellingborough Town boss Jason Burnham has already gone back to his old club Woodford United to sign talented goalkeeper Matt Finlay and midfield strongman Tom Fountain.

Ex-Reds players Tom O'Brien and Darren Frost have also moved to the Doughboys, along with defender Dan Chilton, who has spent time with both Long Buckby and Daventry Town.

The full UCL KO Cup draw comprises (preliminary round): Deeping Rangers v Sileby Rangers, St Ives v Sleaford, Whitworths v Desborough, Huntingdon v S and L Corby, AFC Kempston v Wellingborough Town, Daventry United v Daventry Town.

First round: Deeping or Sileby v Boston, Buckingham v Rushden and Higham, Olney v Blackstones, Newport Pagnell v Kempston or Wellingborough, St Ives or Sleaford v St Neots, Thrapston v Burton Park, Holbeach v Bugbrooke, Stotfold v Irchester, Harborough Town v ON Chenecks, Long Buckby v Huntingdon or S and L, Bourne v Eynesbury Rovers, Northampton Spencer v Whitworths or Desborough, Daventry United v Daventry Town or Cogenhoe, Peterborough NS v Rothwell Corinthians, Potton v Yaxley, Raunds v Wootton BC.
