As the Daventry Netball League season draws to a close the teams are pulling out all the stops to ensure they finish as high up the table as possible.
On Sunday, April 13, Mardi Gras played G&Ts and kept the scores as even as possible until G&Ts pulled away to win 31 to 14.

The game between Hornets and G&T Rookies was extremely close right up until the final whistle with a score of 22 to the Rookies and 21 to Hornets.

The final game of the day saw new team Cummins, in one of their highest scoring matches so far. They played against Grafton Gate and the score ended in a respectable nine to Cummins and 37
to Grafton.

Cummins have played the 2006/2007 league winners, Alma Engineering with a final score of seven to Cummins and 48 to Alma.

In the Hornets and G&T match the score went in Hornets' favour 31-27.
Just one more Sunday remains of league netball after which the 2007/2008 season comes to a close.
