In the Premier Divison Byfield (168 all out) overcame a spirited Syresham (127 all out) despite a man of the match performance from Syresham's Nic Parry who took seven wickets for 44 and top scored with 46.

Steven King impressed for Byfield with some accurate bowling (seven overs for 10 runs) and some big hitting (38no).

In Division One Thornborough (257-two) beat Byfield A (253-eight) by eight wickets thanks to a huge unbeaten 125 from Tom North a
nd Ian Chapman's 81 not out.

Byfield's earlier total inclued a century from Robert Oliver (117) and useful knocks from James Doran (46) and Nigel Cook (26).
Dunchurch & Bilton (233-eight) beat Woodford Halse (231-seven) by two wickets.

Kevin Bunting top-scored with 85 but despite Brad Ward taking four-52 they couldn't prevent Dunchurch squeaking home.

Willoughby (183-five) eased to a five wicket win over Afro Caribbean (182 all out).
Visitors Afro Caribean batted first and set a useful total, being bowled out for 182, Lee Johnson taking five-52. In reply, Bhavik Solanki was in fine form, hitting 89, and Jonny Cumiskey with 60 enabled the hosts to reach their target for the loss of five wickets.

The win gives Willoughby a useful bit of breathing space in mid-table at the halfway stage, yet still within relative touching distance of the promotion chasers.

In Division Two Preston Capes (124-six) beat Greens Norton (120 all out) by four wickets.
Inspired by the cacophony of sound from the brass band at the local fete in an adjoining field, Anthony Franks produced his second successive four-wicket haul as Greens Norton struggled to come to terms with the music.

Derek Bull and Ian Holmes took two wickets apiece on a pitch offering some turn and movement and Preston Capes were left to chase a total of 120 for victory.
A pugnacious and watchful innings from George Grundy (36no) provided the foundations and steadied the nerves after the early loss of the top order.

Stuart Wilson then joined Grundy and hurried to 27 before Richard Parsons struck an unbeaten 18 to see Greens Norton defeated by four wickets with six overs to spare.

In Division Three Gawcott & Hillesden (85-four) beat Boddington (84 all out) by six wickets in what was Boddington's poorest display for many seasons.

In Division Four Chipping Warden (112-three) beat Maids Moreton (110 all out) by seven wickets, while it was a second successive defeat for Willoughby A (157-seven) as they went down by five wickets at the fine surrounds of Marston St Lawrence (159-five).
Batting first, the visitors set a modest total of 157 for seven off their 40 overs.

Ashley Rayner made a fine and typically well-crafted 82, even despite being hampered by a leg injury which required a runner for the last 10 overs. He was supported by Martin Nichols with 28 as the Willoughby innings again progressed in fits and starts.

In reply, the hosts were pegged back in the opening stages by some tight bowling and fielding, but some useful overs for MSL just after the drinks break at halfway saw the game swing in their direction.

Steve Bussy with 36 and John Gale with 34 gave them the edge which was completed by Tom Brooks adding an unbeaten 32 as the home side cruised to victory with over two overs to spare; Nichols taking two-36 for the visitors' restricted attack.
