WARWICKSHIRE county cricket stars joined local teams for a six-a-side tournament recently raising money for Children with
Leukaemia.
Former Bears captain Michael Powell, whose benefit year is supporting Cure Leukaemia, was a member of the winning West Haddon side, captained by event organiser Richard Allen.

Ashley Giles played for West Haddon B, who were
runners-up.

The other teams included the Raglan Arms, Merchants, Ashby St Ledgers and Walcote.

The day will have raised more than £1,000 for the cause, with an auction and raffle.

Richard said: "There was a carnival atmosphere and it was a huge amount of fun from start to finish.

"I'd like to thank everyone involved and West Haddon for hosting the event."

H20 Group, based in the village, has been supporting the charity for about 15 years.
