Daventry Athletic Club's U17s team secured a third place finish in their first Heart Of England Division Three match at Coventry.
Highlight of the day was a new club record by 12-year-old Keiron Russ in the U13s boys' javelin.
His winning distance of 32.76m eclipsed the old record of 32.29m set by Matthew Gordon in 2003.

es A (13.5) and long jump A (4.35m). Also in the U13 boys' section Ryan Haynes won the high jump (1.42m) and long jump B and was placed second in the 100m B.
Niklas Aarre won the shot A (8.47m) and 75m hurdles and 200m B events, Matthew Clarke won the shot B (8.08m) and javelin B and Liam Barnes won the 100m B.
In the U13 girls' section Abie Boland won the 70m hurdles A (13.5) and shot A (6.64m) and 200m B. Emily Print won the long jump A (3.88m) and was placed second in the 100m A and shot B.
Georgia Webster finished second in the 200m A and won the javelin B, Abbie Barns came second in the high jump and javelin A and Emily Spilman won the long jump B (3.71m) and finished second in the 70m hurdles B.
At U15s level Tom McNiven had a win treble in the boys' long jump, 400m and high jump A events. Jordan Barns won the 80m hurdles and long jump and came second in the 100m A and Emily Green won the girls' high jump and was placed second in the long jump A.
In the U17s age group Chris Clarke won the boys' 100m A, long jump and shot B, Daniel Haynes won the shot A (10.82m) and javelin A (35.54m).
Jake Sumpter won the 200m A, 100m B and long jump B, Aaron Young won the 800m A and 200m B while Hannah Green finished second in the girls' shot A.
On the Saturday, the club finished sixth in their second Midland League Division Six match at Nuneaton.
The team's only A event winner was Michael Fenn in the long jump with a distance of 6.33m.
Andrew Pedelty finished second in the 100m hurdles, 400m hurdles, high jump and triple jump A events while in the B events there were wins for Tom Abdy (high jump and javelin), Gavin Sharman (triple jump), Richard Pedelty (shot) and Barry Fenn (discus).
